Psalm 1. (King James Version)                                                 詩篇１. (口語訳)

1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, Nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.	1悪しき者のはかりごとに歩まず、 罪びとの道に立たず、 あざける者の座にすわらぬ人はさいわいである。
2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; And in his law doth he meditate day and night.	2このような人は主のおきてをよろこび、 昼も夜もそのおきてを思う。
3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, That bringeth forth his fruit in his season; His leaf also shall not wither; And whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.	3このような人は流れのほとりに植えられた木の 時が来ると実を結び、 その葉もしぼまないように、 そのなすところは皆栄える。
4 The ungodly are not so: But are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.	4悪しき者はそうでない、 風の吹き去るもみがらのようだ。
5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, Nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.	5それゆえ、悪しき者はさばきに耐えない。 罪びとは正しい者のつどいに立つことができない。
6 For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: But the way of the ungodly shall perish.	6主は正しい者の道を知られる。 しかし、悪しき者の道は滅びる。

 

Psaume 1. (Psautier de Genève 1587)

1. Qui au conseil des malins n’a été, Qui n’est au trac des pécheurs arrêté, Qui des moqueurs au banc place n’a prise, Mais nuit et jour la Loi contemple et prise De l’Éternel, et en est désireux. Certainement cestui-là est heureux.	1. 悪巧みをする者たちの集いに居ない者, 罪人たちの足跡に囚われない者, 冷笑者たちの席に着かない者, しかし夜に昼に法を熟考し重んじ, 永遠のもの,それに望みを置いている. 確かにこの人こそ幸いである.
2. Et semblera un arbre grand et beau, Planté au long d’un clair courant ruisseau, Et qui son fruit en sa saison apporte: Duquel aussi la feuille ne chet morte: Si qu’un tel homme, et tout ce qu’il fera, Toujours heureux et prospère sera.	2. そして(彼は)一つの大きく立派な木に似ている. 澄んだ滑らかな流れに沿って植えられ, そして彼の果実を彼の季節に結ぶ者: 彼の葉もまた弱って枯れることがない: まさにそのような人が,また彼の為すこと全てが, いつも幸いで,また栄えるだろう.
3. Mais les pervers n’auront telles vertus: Ainçois seront semblables aux fétus, Et à la poudre au gré du vent chassée: Parquoi sera leur cause renversée En jugement, et tous ces réprouvés Au rang des bons ne seront point trouvés.	3. しかし邪な者なそのような徳を持たない: しかし麦藁のようになるだろう, そして風に乗って粉々になる: なぜなら彼らの大義は覆されるから 裁きにて,これらすべてが非難される 良いものは見つからない.
4. Car l’Éternel les justes connait bien, Et est soigneux et d’eux et de leur bien: Pourtant auront félicité qui dure. Quant aux méchants qui n’ont ne soin ne cure De s’amender, le chemin qu’ils tiendront, Eux et leur faits en ruine viendront.	4. 主は義人をよく知るので, 彼らと彼らの善いことに注意を払う. それが続くことを祝福する. 悪人には何の気遣いもしない. 彼らが歩む道を修正するために, 彼らの破滅的なことが訪れるだろう.

1．ああ、幸いなるかな、

　　悪しき者、友とせず、

　　罪人の道を行かず、

　　嘲る者にくみせず、

　　みおきてを喜びて

　　昼も夜も学ぶ人。

 

2．かかる人は、流れの

　　ほとりに植えられし木。

　　時いたり、実を結びて、

　　その葉もしぼまぬごとく、

　　その人のなすところ

　　ことごとくみな栄えん。

 

3．悪しき者は、しからず。

　　もみがらに似て軽く、

　　裁きの風に耐ええじ。

　　主、正しき者を守り

　　悪しき者、その集い

　　滅ぼし絶やしたもう。
